Bofrost Cup 2003 - Pairs Elements Competition

Here's a little overview of the rounds in the pairs competition:
Round 1: 3 throw
Round 2: 3 throw (other than first)
Round 3: 2axel-2toeloop
Round 4: 3jump-2jump (either combo or sequence)
Round 5: 3twist

Obertas & Slavnov had no problem doing a throw-3flip and also managed the throw 3loop, two successful attempts, the second one was a bit better. They had some problems with the 2a-2t though, on the first attempt Julia stepped out of the toeloop, the second try was clean, but out of synch. In the next round she fell on the 3toeloop and he had a mistake as well and they both screwed up the 3toeloop on the second attempt as well.

Putnam & Wirtz (who I just find soooooo attractive as a team, because of their body lines) had no problems with their throw-3salchow and throw-3loop. They didn't manage a clean 2a-2t though, she 2footed the first 2t and stepped out of the second.

Marcoux & Buntin (who have won at least 3 new fans at Bofrost Cup) also had no problems with the throw-3loop (they did 2 attempts, the second was a bit shaky though) and throw-3salchow (two easy attempts), plus they managed two clean attempts of 2a-2t (the first one was a bit out of synch). In the next round they did a solid sequence of 3t and 2t. They even tried it again, but on the second time one of them or both (I didn't note it down) stepped out of the toeloop. After that round they had already won, but they did the 3twist anyway. The first attempt was very low and also I think not fully rotated, but the second was better.

Handke & Wende managed a low throw-3loop, but 2footed (heavily) both attempts on the throw-3salchow.

Fitze & Rex did two small throw-3salchow's, but Eva fell on both attempts of the throw-3loop, which did not surprise me, because as far as I know they only have a throw-2axel as their second throw anyway.
