Galit and Sergei placed 4th at the Grand Prix Final in Beijing. They were 3rd in the Original Dance and 4th in the Free Dance and overall.

Also Galit and Sergei have qualified for the Grand Prix Final, which takes place in Bejing, China from December 17th till 19th. The other qualified teams are Tanith Belbin & Benjamin Agosto (USA), Tatiana Navka & Roman Kostomarov (RUS), Albena Denkova & Maxim Stavisky (BUL), Marie-France Dubreuil & Patrice Lauzon (CAN) and Isabelle Delobel & Olivier Schönfelder (FRA).

Galit and Sergei finished their third GP event, the Cup of China, with a silver medal. They were in 3rd place after the Compulsory Dance, but moved up to 2nd place in the Original Dance and also placed 2nd in the Free Dance.

Galit and Sergei won the bronze medal at Skate Canada. They were only in 4th place after the Compulsory Dance and the Original Dance, but managed to move up a place with their Free Dance performance.

Their next Grand Prix event is Cup of China from November 11 to 14.

October 24st, 2004

Galit and Sergei won the silver medal at Skate America. They placed 2nd in all three competition portions. See the news entry below for links to sources with more event information.

Next week they'll compete at their second Grand Prix event, Skate Canada in Halifax. This will be their first scoring event.

Galit and Sergei are in second place after the Compulsory Dance at Skate America.

Galit and Sergei are competing at Skate America this weekend. The competition starts today with the Compulsory Dance, the "Golden Waltz".

Galit and Sergei skated in the Expressions on Ice III show at their home rink in Simsbury on Saturday and Sunday. In both shows they performed their new Original Dance and their Gypsy Kings exhibition. Check the gallery for a photo from their new OD.
