There's a new article by Lois Elfman about Galit's coaching career on the IceNetwork.com site: Behind the scenes of figure skating - Jan. 10: Galit Chait makes a total commitment to coaching April 2nd, 2007 Galit and Sergei took part in the "Stars on Ice" show in Tel Aviv (part of Ilia Averbukh's spring tour) on March 31st.

I still have no official update on C&S' injury status, but here's a nice general article by Lois Elfman on their career from Lifestyles Magazine: Also Galit took part in the group numbers of the Disson show "Halloween on Ice" on Oct 8th, 2006. September 17th, 2006 Galit and Sergei have withdrawn from their two Grand Prix assignments, to my current knowledge because of a severe foot injury from Sergei :-( As soon as I have further information on the injury or their plans for the rest of the season, I'll post it here. June 26th, 2006 The Grand Prix assignments for season 2006/2007 have been published on the ISU website. Galit and Sergei have been assigned to compete at Cup of China (Nov 9 - 12) and NHK Trophy (Nov 30 - Dez 3). From Haaretz (I think this requires registration): February 21st, 2006 Galit and Sergei finished 8th at the Olympics overall, after finishing 7th in the final Free Dance competition last night. Here's an article in the JPost, that states that they have decided to compete at Worlds. Good luck to them there! ICE DANCE: Chait, Sakhnovsky disappointed February 20th, 2006 Galit and Sergei moved up to 9th in the Olympic dance competition, after they placed 6th in the Original Dance. January 24th, 2006 Galit and Sergei placed 5th at the European Championships in Lyon, France last week. They were 5th in the CD, 4th in the OD and 5th in the FD. I attended Europeans and will share a general report on my homepage later and I'll also upload some photos of Galit & Sergei's performances eventually. I had a lot of fun at Europeans and I really enjoyed their performances, I think the Original Dance was probably the best I've ever seen them skate live and the Free Dance was just beautiful as well! After the Compulsory Dance: December 18th, 2005 Galit and Sergei placed 4th at the Grand Prix Final in Tokyo this weekend. They were 4th in both OD and FD.
